Any suggestions on a show/artist that has a quite vibe to it, mabey something depressing but real, you know tired of it all music. Mostly accoustic, or electric, just really relaxing, nothing too loud and exciting, and a good singer. I have to find something, Tired of the damn Fox News Channel.

i agree totally with the tristan comment. really soulful beautiful music. The song 'mess' is really fitting for this time of these days. check it out on the 2004-04-09 version ... beautiful somber stuff.

you should also really check out Gregory Page. depressing, but in a good way music:

i highly recommend the 11/30/03 show .. he had a guest violin player that nigth that really brought a lot to it. enjoy!

Try the Ben Lee show from 1999. It's pretty chill, kind of acoustic. You could also give Jack Johnson a shot...

Ancient Harmony at The Library, Valdosta, GA 1998: meets all the criteria (except the last track of ten is electric)
